WELCOME~~~ Today is the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year, we, the boys from victoria school are very lucky as we did not need to attend school due to the good results of the 'O' Level results of the boys of class 2008. Today, there was not much family visiting, which leads to, little red packet gained. Today was more of people coming to visit our house. I love it when people visit my house, their mouths would always be filled with comments such as ," Wow! your house is so big, i seriously love it!" and " wow, i wish this was my house." Upon hearing this i would grin a little on the outside, but on the inside, i am smilling widely, the reason being, be humble...haha! Today, i have decided that i would spend the day learning dance moves and impressing my friends tomorrow. The type of dance i learn is breakdance, Hip Hop, B-Boy, Poppin And Lockin and also Modern Lyrical. I really love dance, currently, i have taken up Hip-Hop classes to improve my Hip Hop skills, I would include a video of me dancing at the end of this slide. Most guys think that dancing is for girls or that only sissy's dance. However, it is not true. Dance is actually a way of expressing yourself, and enjoying the time you spend learning and applying it. My mum and dad have gone out together to the movies and my brother is at school doing some project work, thus, i was left alone at home. I decided to start my time alone with some computer gaming, however, i got bored of it after a while and switched off the computer. I was lazing around the house, sitting on the sofa, watching shows from channel 8, suddenly, this scene where people were dancing appeared on the screen. I quickly stood up and played some music with my phone. i grooved to the music and before long, i found myself on the ground doing the 6-step floorwork and dancing hiphop, I was really enjoying myself because I was actually quite impressed with myself for being able to perform such a wonderful piece. There was still a long time before my parents returned home, i quickly changed into a new set of clothes and imagined that i was on TV, I was the host, the audience and also the performer.I said," Welcome everybody to the breakdancing show, today, we have invited the youngest and most impressive breakdancer one can ever find in this world to our show, lets welcome Ivan Ting." I walked out proudly, imagining that the audience were all looking at me with amazement and admiration, just then, the music started playing and i started spinning around on the floor, doing the baby-freeze, shoulder freeze and many others, I imagined the croud cheering and whistling, calling for more, i really enjoyed myself. You must be thinking, this guy really likes self entertainment. To tell you the truth, i like fame, I like it when I have many fans who come up to me to get my autograph and send me items daily, I find it really cool. I have tried many ways to get famous. I tried going for the auditions for the show," Campus Superstar", however, i got kicked out on the first round, i think i had chosen the wrong song. I finished my "performance" at around 4pm. My parents would only be back at 7pm and they would fetch my brother on the way home. therefore, i still have 3hours of alone time to myself. I quickly ran into my room and fetched out my file,i call it"The File Of Dreams" inside the file contains all my song lyrics and cds, i took it out and started practising some songs which i like. I like to sing and dance because through these, i find that i can not only get famous, i can also get talented and special. In the last 1 hour of my time spent alone, I decided to have another show where i was the host, performer and audience again. this time, i sang and danced and i imagined that there was an autograph session after the show where everyone was rushing to come and get my signature. Through this, i have actually learnt that one shouldn't waste his or her time lazing around, instead one should do something meaningful.
